How I have changed as a learner

During this year I have not been so good, but at the beginning of the year I was definitely much better that now. I do not know what happened but I have been decreasing my grades during the whole year.

What my portfolio says about me

If somebody gets to look at my portfolio, and read it all; and I haven't met this person ever in my life then I think that we would know that I am not such a bad student. This person would not know how I behave or how I look like, but he will probably know how are my academic skills. He would know about my academic skills because of all the projects and files I have in it. So if they are very good then he would know that I am a intelligent student and if they are mediocre then he would think that I a bad student.

He would probably know that I like motorcycles, that I like Social Studies (because I had some good projects) and that I was good at math but not anymore because I mentioned that. He would say that I am good in academic matters but that I do not so much homework because I don't have too many homework. If this person viewed my portfolio he would conclude that I am not one of the best students but that also I am not one of the worst students

Passions on Portfolio

I have a lot of passions but the things I like to do the most are riding motorcycle and traveling I could relate these two passions with a Portfolio because:

1.Traveling: If I am traveling to another location and I have a online portfolio, then I could have different topics on different sections of the portfolio. By topics I mean different places I have been and inside a little information and some pictures I took.

2.Motocross: I love to ride motocross it's the passion I love the most, I enjoy it a lot and I am also good at it. This relates to a portfolio because if I have a online portfolio I could put news about races in one section and could put pictures in another.

1.Social Studies Olympic video: I made this one of my best because I worked with my friends, we had fun, and made a excellent video. This project was about making a video about Greece.

2.Español GoPro video: This was also really good because I did it with my friends and did it about a topic that I liked and knew about. This project was about making a documentary.

3.Math Rap song: This project was to make a song about math for english class. I did this project with Santiago and liked it a lot because we had fun. Even though I didn’t get a 4 I think that we did  pretty good job.

I think that what motivated me to do these things good was because I worked in group with my friends and had the motivation to do those projects.

Real Learning is...

Real Learning for me is to have fun. I like when the whole class is learning at the same time, like when everyone has small boards and shows their answer. I don't like copying things because I think that that is boring and I don't feel like I am learning. If the learning would be outdoors it would be great. I think I would have more concentration while also being more relaxed.

I think that I learn more visually that listening because I can understand more pictures than words. Ms.Shawn, the part of your class I like the most is that you show us videos of the stuff we are learning, like songs and stuff. I feel that in those videos I learn a lot. I think that we should go outdoors sometimes when the sun is shining to relax a little more.

Personal Entry 2

Today at 12 p.m my grandmother that lives in Seattle will get to Bogotá so she can be at Christmas with my family. On Saturday I am going to Ibague where my cousin is going to graduate from school. All of my family is going.

On Christmas I am getting a Blade radio control helicopter which I really like. I have watched so many videos of this helicopter that I practically know every part by memory. Another thing I am getting is an I-Pad. I want this I-Pad because I think it's important for school. Instead of taking my computer to school I will take my I-Pad, that is less expensive if I loose it. The last and best thing that I will get is a motorcycle. It's the KTM 200 exc 2012 and I have really looked forward to it like 1 year ago. I am really happy because this Christmas I am getting lots of good gifts.

The Worst Audience behavior

The worst audience behavior is when you are being noisy and disrespectful. By making noise you could be eating, talking, or laughing. And the noise would be much worst not coming from only one person, but from a group of people. Good audience behavior is really important because if everyone was talking and laughing then nobody could hear the presentation and it may be important.

If I were a God I would:

If I were a God I would do lot's of good things to Colombia and the World. The most important one is to make all the people that are bad (terrorists, rapists, etc.) and turn them into good people, that will help society. By doing this I would bring peace to the world and make lots of people happier. I would also eliminate all the weapons, so that presidents who declare war couldn't fight with each other and kill lots of soldiers. The last thing I would do is that I would make people respect all of the Human rights so that lots of people will be happier.

Problems that exist in Middle School

I think that there are lots of problems in Middle School.

Though I think that the most common one and important one is bullying. In CNG it is not a really big problem, but in the US and other schools it is. In the schools that there is bullying, the unpopular kids feel really bad because the bullies bother them all the time. Sometimes bullies even steal their money, so that they can buy lunch. Other times they hit them with no reason.

About Me

    My name is Pablo Ancizar. I have lived in Colombia almost all my life, I lived in Venezuela two years when I was little. I have lots of hobbies but my favorite is to ride motorcycle. I’ve ridden since I was 4 years old and I’m very good at it. I ride motocross and Enduro(on logs, rocks, mountain, etc.).

    I also drive RC cars, planes, and helicopters. Right now I only have a really good RC car which the brand is Traxxas. I really like to drive it on my farm and make it jump.

    Another hobby I am new in is mountain bikes. I´m starting to like it because I bought a really good bike and I have gone out with my dad a couple of times.

    My parents are really important to me because they support me in my hobbies. My dad always goes out with me to ride motorcycle and he teaches me new things every time.
