Character Development and Elements of a Story

Character Development: Is how the character changes throughout the story.
                                      
You have to give your character(s) a physical description, characteristics: talent, ambition, a deep secret, best friend, worst enemy, a name, and actions to describe their personality.


Elements of a Story: setting, conflict, theme, character, and plot.
  • Setting: Is where and when the story takes place (time and place).
  • Conflict: Is the problem in the story.
  • Theme: What kind of story is it(fiction, non-fiction, historical fiction, etc.)
  • Character: Are the people animals or other creatures in the story.
  • Plot: Is the events that makes up the story.
